70% Off Target Toy Clearance Shopping Trip | Spent $105, Saved $360

Last night I wanted to give you guys a quick tip that Target’s semi-annual toy clearance was rumored to start today, and sure enough it did at my local store. If you are in the Dallas area: Denton, Lewisville, and Irving locations had 70% off. If you did some shopping, be sure to let us know which store was marked down!

Everything pictured above was 70% off. Just like with groceries, it’s a great idea to have a small stockpile of toys to save yourself money in the long run. Since I currently have no toys in my “Toy Closet”, I was happy to find some bargains. I’ll use these toys for my daughter’s birthday in 5 months, for Christmas next year, for other kid’s presents, and for donation items.

I actually shopped two stores this morning, but both were fully packed with toys. Here’s a picture of what on of the aisles looked like after I was done with my toy selection:

Be sure to check out my video of this shopping trip on my YouTube channel as well as reasons why you should have a Toy Closet.

Did you do some Target toy clearance shopping? Do you have a “Toy Closet”?

  1. I shopped Target 70% off aisle, I walked away with a HotWheels Camera car (17.98), Chunky Tonka Cars (2.98), Rock and Roll Mickey (14.66). I was so happy with my finds but our aisle was very picked over compared to your picture.

  2. I spent $35 on toys- I would have spent more- but they had the lego’s clearance toys put with the 70% off toys- but they were only 50% off and would not honor the 70%- oh well

  3. Latham NY store had 70% off

  4. Wow, wish I had the opportunity to shop at your store … Mine didn’t even have that much when things were only 30%! I did go in this morning and I did pick up a few Cars items at 70% … but wow, Imaginext – Barbie – Play Doh … none of those items were available at my store!

  5. Great deals but the idea of shopping and bringing anything more into the house after a huge holiday overload is too much to bear.

  6. While you shopped for girls, I shopped for boys:) I spent $109 at Target on toys, and oh my the deals were fabulous!
