Greg and I have major issues with misplacing our phone chargers at times when we really need them. Greg works from home and is glued to his phone on meetings throughout most of the days, so it’s highly important for us to have a method of getting our phones charged quickly and efficiently.
The Powermat is a great device for many reasons. One thing I’ve noticed over the past month is that we always know to go to the station dock to charge our phone, which means we always have the ability to charge them instead of roaming around the house looking for chargers!
Now here’s some really cool features I love about the Powermat:
- The Powermat isn’t just for phones. You can charge anything from a Nintendo DS to an iPod, and with a Universal Receiver, you can charge hundreds of different electronics without all the crazy chargers!
- No energy is wasted with the Powermat. Once your item is fully charged, it will automatically shut off to save energy!
- Charges quickly. There’s actually a little magnetic strip that zeros in and ‘locks’ the electronic in place! Not only does nit improve the sleek and organized look, but it helps charge your device faster than the original charger!
- It also has a small sound and light indicator when your device is charging, which is very helpful. I’ve often walked away from my phone thinking I plugged it in, but it wasn’t charging!
This video is a great visual to show you how it works:

This would be great while traveling. I would use it for my phone and ipod touch.
The PowerMat’s appeal is that it functions as a universal charging station for many devices, and new ones as they become available.
I like that it cuts down on the cords I would have laying around and that I can charge things easily
I like how its wireless and can power 3 things at once

i like that you can charge several things at once
I have an old small home, with hardly any electrical outlets! It is such a pain when 4 kids are trying to charge everything. Each room has one outlet. How nice this would be for their ipods and Ds’s, very nice indeed!

I drives me crazy to waste time looking around the house for chargers and then to have to guess what phone they go with. This sounds like it would solve that problem! Yahoo!
