I did a very similar deal tonight and my total was .48 before tax. :) Question for you.. I noticed on my receipt that the Pampers deal says:
    Quantity toward this reward 1
Quantity needed to earn reward 1

Not a thing about Offer Limit reached. Is yours this way? And does it mean the limit on the pampers is 2?
Sure would love to score another box of cheap pampers!

OMG Leah I just looked at my receipt and mine says the same thing! That just got me really excited! I may run up to my 24-hour CVS at midnight and try the deal again to see what happens!!! :D

If you do, I’d love to know your result. We have a couple of CVS around here that will take the rite aid $5/20, and I will cash in on a 2nd box if I can!

I did not know that you could combine two different ads on Saturday! What are the guidelines?

    • Jasmine says:

      Hey Melinda-
99% of the time, if your store is NOT a 24hr. CVS, they actually activate the new sale some time during Saturday! There’s a couple ways to know when they activate:
      1. check the tags- they alternate between dark yellow and light yellow every other week, so if you are seeing ‘new’ tags up, chances are the sale has already been activated!
      2. ask the manager- I’ve asked my store managers when they activate the new sales. some stores around me activate as early as noon on saturday.
      3. price check- scan an item you know a head of time is going on sale for the new ad and see how it would ring up. next week for instance, Sobe will be BOGO and right now it’s not. so if you price checked it saturday and saw it as BOGO then you know both ads are valid!

theres a very slim chance that you may run into the following problem, but just keep this in the back of your head:
lets say lip gloss is $2.99 for the ‘old’ ad, but you get a $2.99 ECB, and for the ‘new’ ad it’s $1.99 but no ECB. On Sat., the register will automatically ring it up as $1.99 because that’s the ‘better price’. (even though we both know the ECB is what we really want ;) ) I’ve never really run across this problem, but a store manager brought it to my attention!
