What is Recycle Bank and Why Should I Have an Account?

Recycle Bank is all about making a positive impact on our planet. They want to inspire you to take action by rewarding you for your “Green” activities. There are many ways you can earn points, which are located under the “Earn Points” tab. A quick and easy way to rack up points is by taking quick polls or surveys on the site. I’ll always be sure to let you know when new opportunities arise to earn more easy points. Many times you’ll find polls on the right side of the homepage. Most polls range from 1-5 multiple choice questions and give you 5-25 points. To give you an idea of how long it takes to rack up points, I just sat here for about 3 minutes and racked up 60 points from different polls. :D

You can take those points and redeem them for a variety of rewards. Recycle Bank is a great resource for coupons. Many of the coupons are for natural/organic items. Here’s a few examples of what you can pick up with your points:

:: $2 off any Kashi product coupon for 125 points

:: 50% + FREE shipping at Vistaprint for 100 points

:: $10 off $50 at Macy’s for 100 points

:: Two free cans of Fancy Feast Gourmet cat food for 125 points

:: $2 off a bag of Everybody’s Nuts for 50 points

:: $1 off a bottle of Honest Tea for 60 points

Of course, the best part about Recycle Bank is that it’s free to sign up and get all of these discounts!

    Recycle bank has just started in our city as the result of a huge push to recycle. I haven’t cashed in on any of my points yet but looks to be a great program. I would like to see more coupons for restaurants.
