With gas prices at $4/gallon, many of us are looking for ways to cut back on grocery store runs. Believe it or not, Amazon actually has some great grocery deals! They also have great deals on organic, natural, and gluten-free products.
What is Subscribe & Save?
Subscribe & Save is a free program that Amazon offers on some of their products. If it is an item that you may routinely use (i.e. grocery items, diapers, etc.) you may see a Subscribe & Save offer. Amazon will give you 15% off + FREE shipping as an incentive for signing up. They also make it very clear that you can cancel at anytime- no fees, no obligations.
Many savvy shoppers will use the feature for one round of product, and then simply cancel the subscription. Here’s a quick video to walk your through choosing the Subscribe & Save feature on a deal, as well as how to cancel:
Also don’t forget about promo codes for additional savings. You will be able to insert a promo code on the last page before you place your order, as shown below. This image shows the Subscribe & Save 15% off + free shipping as well as a $2 off promo code.

Here’s all the Amazon grocery deals you can get with Subscribe & Save.

Hey Wendy- I’m usually emailed codes from Amazon, readers, or other bloggers. If it’s a good deal, I’ll post it!
I had seen that but I did not dare now that I see how easy it is to cancel I will use it. The deals you get in organic items in Amazon are awesome.
Thank you
No problem Liz- I’m also a very hesitant person about subscribing to things. I’ve never once forgot to cancel this though and I order A LOT from Amazon!
When I try to cancel, there is no YES box to click. So how do you cancel when the site does not respond as you claim it is supposed to?
Thanks, JDM
Amazon is not going to hide the yes box. It’s very simple to unsub from subscribe and save. You may want to change your browser- maybe it’s not showing up because of that.
